Costa Rica

Gallo pinto and eggs and the sweetest pineapple you’ll ever taste for breakfast. White-water rafting on Rio Sarapiqui. Mountain biking around Volcan Arenal. Vinyasa yoga in an open-air pavilion overlooking the Pacific, the sounds of the ocean and birds and white-faced capuchins and air moist with promise surrounding you in savasana. Snorkeling in the shimmering green waters of Isla Tortuga. Mornings in the hammock, Centenario and Coke at night. Even the rum tastes better there.

I did a tour and stayed at the beach in Montezuma for four days. There just happened to be a yoga studio in walking distance from my hotel, and I always have my travel mat. Unfortunately, I am back in the cold and drove to work in the snow this morning! I am eagerly awaiting Spring.

      • Well, I’m pleased that you are able to travel so expensively. Enjoying and partaking in that which is fresh, exciting, and invigorating. This makes getting through such tough winter seasons, more bearable.
